Random Cool Stuff of the Week

This is the first of a new series.  A collection of random cool stuff that I find on the inter-webs, YouTube vids, books I feel are in need of readin', movies that need watchin', and comic books that need lookin'.

1.  The Incredible Hulk: The End
Here's a very, very cool video that shows the last days of the Hulk, the tragedy of the monster that outlives everybody, because "Hulk hates puny Banner and is strongest one there is!"  It's a great motion comic with ominous music:

2.  The Thing short story...from the Thing's perspective
If you're a movie fan and you're sane, then you love John Carpenter's The Thing.  Writer Peter Watts wrote this short story from the alien's perspective, not from the humans' perspective.  Talk about a whole new insight!  It's free here at this website, and it's fantastic!

3.  James Earl Jones reads "The Raven"
If you're a fan of Edgar Allan Poe and Darth Vader's voice...the merger between the two is epic beyond belief.  Now, imagine adding Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" in the background.  Now, you have gone beyond epic, and you are in the realm of something else.  We'll have to come up with a new word right here and now to describe how overly awesome this is, and that word is...Vaderravensonata!

4.  Plinkett Reviews the Star Wars Prequels
If you find the Star Wars Prequels as awful as I do, then you will not--I repeat, WILL NOT--be sorry you checked out this first in an epic series of movie reviews.  I can't even explain to you why these are so amazing, you just have to see to believe.  They're performance pieces of genius comedy, with skits, drama, and one very sick and demented serial killer named Harry S. Plinkett...who really, really hates George Lucas and these films.  A must-see for anyone wanting to make videos on YouTube, demonstrating the possibilities that YouTube brings.  You will laugh, you will cry, and you will learn a lot about filmmaking.
