What Do I Write Next? You Decide!

All right, guys, here's something new and exciting. You get to decide what I write next!

I'm a published writer and I do not suffer from writer's block, more like writer's overflow (to check out my works and my style, visit http://www.amazon.com/Psycho-Save-Us-ebook/dp/B009DL5WEQ/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348353493&sr=8-1&keywords=psycho+save+us)--that is, I have too many ideas rushing at me at once. I've got a number of ideas bouncing around, ranging from zombies to epic sea adventures, from historical fiction to fantasy, from sci-fi to romance.

I can hardly decide which one to tackle next, though I've begun notes on a variety of different concepts. So, since I've got a sizable following now, I got a crazy notion to do something that I don't think has been done (at least, not to my knowledge), and I'm going to let YOU decide.

To make this more interesting, you'll vote below in the comments section, and tell me EXACTLY what you'd like to see done with these concepts. I'm officially opening the votes up now, and will be closing the polls on December 1st, 2012. I can promise that whatever gets the most votes, it will at least be written as a 250-page novella and you will have it on Amazon, ready to read, within 8 months!

P.S. If you think you have a BETTER idea and want to throw it out to the group, please do so. You never know, it might get far more votes than mine!

So, without further adieux, let's get to it:

Genre/Theme:

Standard Apocalypse - the main characters are a survivalist, a teenage texting addict, a man whose wife literally left him moments before the bombs went off, and the leader of a Hell's Angels gang; the United States gets bombed, and we follow the group on the first week as they struggle to get clear of Atlanta and the fallout, raid towns for supplies such as insulin (one of them is Type I diabetic), and struggle with leaving the state before they become sick with radiation.

Zombie Apocalypse - The main character is Lionel, a man who is half zombie because his immune system fought it off enough to stabilize.  Though debilitated, he lives as the only thinking zombie and must live on the run; we see the world adjusting to a zombie dilemma; new laws and sanctions are put into effect, such as the Called Time of Death Act, which allows any dead person's next-of-kin to decide whether the recently deceased body should have its brain destroyed by captive bolt pistol (the cattle-killer used in No Country for Old Men) or if it ought to be sent to a colony where the undead are herded and kept.  Lionel must keep ahead of government-sanctioned zombie slayers to get to the woman he loves, and perhaps find the secret to zombism within himself to produce a potential cure...

Dark Romance - The main character Joyce, a sweet girl struggling with her identify as she moves into the big city.  Her next-door neighbor is a vicious loner that none of the other neighbors speak to.  He's got a dark past, and can be savagely violent, especially when he sees others being degraded or picked on.  Because she is so sweet, she never stands up for herself, but he does, only sometimes he goes too far...

Fantasy Sea Adventure - The main character is a shipwright's son on the run in a land of gods and superstitions, who steals an advanced brig during the Age of Sail, a brig he and his father worked on themselves.  He sails it to the ends of the world, and encounters supernatural sea creatures and a band of pirates that at first mean to kill him, until they see how gifted he is with figures and designs, and at building zhebecks and polacres.  He uses his knowledge to help them modify their pirate vessels.  He has his own idea of a steam engine that might serve better, and imagines ships with ironclad hulls.  Slowly, he learns the pirate life himself, and helps them assemble a pirate fleet more formidable than any Imperial fleet, and discovers a great deal about himself and the lengths he's willing to go to return home.  "Arrrrrrrr!"  (The early years of a strange new steam punk world, part one of a series that would develop said world.)

Anthropomorphic Tale - A young adult novel.  The main character is Faulkner Swiftpaw, one of the last "foxfolk," or 3-foot-tall humanoid foxes, set in a medieval world of mostly humans.  Quick-witted and adventure-seeking, Faulkner is mostly a selfish loner with a short attention span.  But when he finds a young human girl lost in the woods and surrounded by a pack of wolves, he defends her and finds that, though he wants to leave her be, she won't stop following him.  Faulkner and the girl form a bond, kind of "Lone Wolf and Cub"-style, and find adventure with each other.

Sci Fi - The main character is an alien entity known only as the Wayfarer.  He is a supernatural being powerful enough to alter time and space within certain perameters.  One day, he notices a duplicate version of himself that suddenly materializes out of nowhere, with the exact same powers he has.  His doppelganger intends to destroy all the Universes in existence, and the Wayfarer has only a nanosecond to save all of existence...but for him, a nanosecond is enough time to do a lot.  This would be a tale of mind-bending science and speculation.

Japanese Historical Fiction - I have a love for all things Japanese, and I've researched the feudal period so much that I sometimes dream about it.  This would take place during the reign of the Tokugawa Shogunate, and follow a ninja spy and a kunoichi (female ninja) as they infiltrate the Ishimoto samurai clan in historic Izu province, circa 1605.  There's a lot that many people don't know about this era that is endlessly fascinating!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Yep, I'm throwin' this in the mix.  I've always wanted to do a grittier version of the TMNT boys, the way they were back in the early comic book years--more blood, more cursing, all of that--and create an origin story that feels more 21st century.  What do you think?

All right!  So, there you have it, boys and girls!  What do you think?  Cast your vote below, or else just let me know what you think about these ideas.  Do they all suck, are they all awesome, do some sound better than others?  Post your comments and why you think so.
